Banning Halloween !!!

Last year there was a boy that dressed up as Hitler for Halloween at his school. The school in return is trying to ban wearing Halloween costumes. I personally think that this is wrong and should not be allowed. Halloween is a time for fun and showing a part of what you like to others. Halloween is a way to be like somebody, or something else for a day. Little children are adorable when they come knocking on the doors to go trick or treating. Older kids, such as teens, should be able to share this fun for at least the one day as well. It's fun to be able to imitate someone that you look up to or just be your own dream person for a day. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and i personally don't think that it's right to take it away.

Invisible...

There are times when i wish that i was like Violet off of the Increadables. Being like Violet would be extremely cool. I would be able to make myself invisible any time i wanted to. I would make myself invisible when ever i didn't want to bee seen by someone i like, or don't like so that i could save myself from embarrassment. I would also turn invisible when ever i heard someone talking about me, and i would sneak over to where they where and listen in on what they had to say. One thing that bothers me is talking about me behind my back instead of to me about something you have a problem with. I wouldn't get mad and beat anybody up or play pranks on people. I would simply like to be like Violet so that i could save myself from embarrassment and so that i could listen in and find new ways to improve myself with out changing my personality or what i like or anything to extreme. I would still want to be me (M.H.T.). Having the power to be invisible would be one of the best things that would ever happen to me. Lets face it, everyone wants to be invisible sometimes.

Bonfire ...

This year for our homecoming the students here at _____ ISD, wont be having a bonfire. I personally happen to be one of the students and I'm very unhappy with it. The bonfire on homecoming is a tradition that we have had here ever sense my parents where in school. I love going to the bonfires every year. The bonfire on homecoming is probably what i look forward to the most through out the entire football season. I love to watch our boys beat up on the other teams of course, football is a game that I enjoy watching, but nothing can compare to the awsome intensity of the bonfire. I love to watch the flames of the huge fire that has burned deep in my soul ever sense I was a little girl. Fire has always been an interest to me. Something about it mezmorizes me. It's so beautiful. This year however, "they" are trying to tell me that we are going to have to break our tradition and not have the bonfire. It breaks my heart.
In replacement for the bonfire this year we are going to have a parade. This is a good idea i guess, but because we are such a small town our parade will consist of our 50 person band, our 8 varsity cheerleaders, 4 floats, and the football boys. The parade will simply be going aproxamatly 6 blocks. I have a lot of team spirit but the idea of getting rid of the bonfire was a really crappy idea in my mind.

I Wish ...

I wish there where a law against abortion. It would be a good law because it is my belief that abortion is killing a child. Though many people say that I'm wrong because the baby was not born or because the baby could not feel anything. How do they know that. The baby very well could have felt it as it leaves its mothers womb unwillingly. I believe that if a person gets pregnant then it is no one's fault but their own because there are so many ways in this day and time to keep from getting pregnant. Women have the pregnancy pill or shot, we have condoms, and if you are at a certain age and it is unfitting for you to have a child, or if you just don't ever want to have children you can have your tubes tied. Women who have been raped say that its not their fault that their pregnant. That is true, however it is their fault that they have decided to kill the child that they, in an unconventional way have been blessed with. There is also adoption if you don't want to keep the kid. I'm sure someone else in this would who cant have children would love a new born baby. I wish there where a law against abortion because I believe that abortion is killing. There are too many ways for a woman to keep from getting pregnant, or if she gets pregnant there are to many other options that she could do if she really did not want to keep it.
